--- title: What is A/B testing? description: A/B testing is a method google uses to determine if the traffic your site is getting is authentic or not. It involves ranking a keyword low (A) (1-3) then immediately ranking it high (B) (15+) and seeing what rank gets clicked. Since clicking a high rank is a lot less likely than clicking a low rank google can then make a determination as to how authentic the traffic for that listing is. --- [Skip to content](https://info.agencyassassin.com/knowledge-base/what-is-a/b-testing#main-content) English - United States Show submenu for translations ![70dac30c](https://info.agencyassassin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/70dac30c.png?width=140&height=42&name=70dac30c.png) Open main navigation Close main navigation - English - United States Show submenu for translations How Agency Assassin can help you? - There are no suggestions because the search field is empty. 1.
